Celebration of Achievement
It has been our pleasure yesterday and today to present certificates and trophies to our young people from last year and those currently still in school. Photos and programme will be shared next week. #PRIDE
Senior Tracking Report
As we approach the end of the first term, we have completed our first Senior Tracking report. These will be issued to our young people on Wednesday 7th October. As a school, we will be reviewing these reports to ensure we provide support or challenge for those identified young people.
Importance of Social Distancing during lunchtime.
We have been asked by SBC to remind all our senior pupils to adhere to the rules of social distancing if they leave the school grounds during a lunch time. They must take precautionary measures when in groups to protect themselves, their fellow pupils, their families and members of the public.
Ipads
Please can we ask parents/carers to remind all our young people to ensure their ipads are charged and ready for learning. Due to the current climate, most lessons are using IT and we do not have the facilities to charge ipads within school. Thank you.
Duke of Edinburgh
The impact of Covid-19 has had a significant impact on us all but maybe most particularly our young people. DofE Scotland wants to take the opportunity to celebrate the success of young people from your school in the volunteering, physical and skills sections of their DofE Award. Attach is a copy of our Social Value Certificate. This outlines the number of hours which young people from our school have put into their Skills, Volunteering and Physical sections in 2019-2020 as well as the impact of their volunteering expressed as a monetary value.
