Alternative Certification Model 2021 – SQA Yesterday, we held year group assemblies to share key information regarding the implementation of the above model within Kelso High School. We have come to the end of our first week with all leaners welcomed back to reconnect with in school learning. It has been so lovely to see everyone. There has been a really positive energy in the school with young people returning focused, working hard and genuinely pleased to see their peers and teachers.
Return to School – Week Commencing 15th March 2021 In preparation for the return of our young people next week, a parental letter was issued. Please find a copy of the letter below. Individual emails have been sent to every young person and parent/carer providing more details with regards to their timetable for next week.
Phase 2 of Return to In-School Learning We continue to work closely with SBC and the other secondary schools to prepare our plans for bringing back our young people into the school building. All our young people will receive some in-school education from 15 March up until the Easter holidays, which begin on 2 April.
Sad Passing of Alan Wise You may have heard about the sad passing of Alan Wise, teacher of Chemistry at KHS from 1980- 2011. As a mark of respect the flag at KHS will be flying at half-mast.
