English & RMPS
The English & RMPS faculty plays a key role in the life of Kelso High School, developing a range of core skills across the subjects offered. As a faculty, we take very seriously our role both in preparing learners for national qualifications, and in enabling them to access the wider curriculum. We are also deeply committed to fostering an enjoyment of the subjects at all levels.
Our Library provides relevant and up-to-date resources to stimulate the intellectual growth of our learners by enhancing their breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding.
A range of subject-related extra-curricular activities are supported by the Faculty. These include Shakespeare in Schools, Poetry Slam, Creative Writing competitions and our annual Battlefields Essay competition.
